About the Perfect Candidate
  • You love to write: You have strong written and verbal communication skills. This role will create blog posts, long-form content, emails, landing pages, copy for online advertising, and direct mail pieces.
  • You are flexible in a large role: This role features the opportunity to work with many different groups within the company, alongside executive stakeholders.
  • You’re comfortable self-managing: Once a project or campaign has been scoped out, you’re comfortable running with the ball and working with various team members to ensure execution.
  • You’re a digital native: You like technology. You are familiar with marketing tools and are eager to learn more. You know your way around both Microsoft and Google Apps, as well as online project management tools. You know how to explain what you do to your grandparents.  
  • You like data. You’re comfortable around analytics tools like Google Analytics and are interested in how website traffic becomes revenue.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Grow and enhance the content strategy for Ziflow by producing compelling content that captivates users through every stage of the customer journey for CRM, Social Media, Web and beyond.
  • Manage content calendars across the editorial cycle, including copywriting, measurement, and reporting.
  • Craft compelling copy that lives on Ziflow’s owned and paid channels
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and external third-parties to plan and manage content initiatives.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute content promotion initiatives that are designed to drive organic listeners growth
  • With VP of Operations and demand generation manager, set, execute and measure quarterly goals for traffic creation requirements.
  • Manage social channels.
  • Identify new content channels we can use to drive qualified user acquisition.
  • Create and maintain metrics/reports on content marketing activities, effectiveness, and business impact.
  • Contribute to SEO strategy.
  • Create content for email, social, landing pages and other channels.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of our buyer/user/influencer personas, including demographic and firmographic data for target optimization.
Qualifications Required
  • Very strong written communication skills
  • Detail and deadline oriented
  • 2+ years of content marketing and/or growth marketing experience
  • Proven ability to draw an audience via compelling content campaigns  
  • Proven success working cross-functionally with internal business partners
  • Bachelor’s Degree or work experience equivalent  
  • Bonus points for experience with ‘marketing to marketers’ or previous agency experience.
