Customize your Help Links in Proof Viewer

    Summary: The Help section and ability to customize help links feature, unique to Ziflow, allows to add and edit links to Help page resources. It will be visible within the Proof Viewer and will allow quick access to Help resources for all reviewers.

    Available: Feature is available on all editions with limitations below:

    • Accounts on Basic & Starter plan -  users are able to see default Help links and turn the feature on/off. Add/edit/delete options  are not available.
    • Accounts on Business & Enterprise plan - users are able to see default Help links with the option to edit/add/delete, as well as turn the feature on/off.

    Where is the feature setup?  

    The Help links feature is located under Settings > Proofing Settings > Proof Viewer

    Managing the Help links feature

    To enable Help links feature click on SettingsProofing SettingsProof viewer section and expand Set the button as visible or hidden section.

    Toggle the button to set Help links feature ON/OFF.


    Accounts on Starter plans see default Help links only, with the ability to select which of them should be visible within the Proof Viewer.

    Expand Custom links in the Help section tab to see more options. Toggle buttons under Status tab to turn the Help links ON/OFF.

    Account administrators on Business & Enterprise plans see default Help links with the ability to create a Custom link:

    Expand Custom links in the Help section tab and click on Create custom link button.

    Fill the Name and URL section for your new custom link and click Save.

    To edit existing links click on Name or URL section and edit accordingly.

    All Help links are available under the Help icon within the Proof Viewer’s left sidebar.
