The Role

Ziflow has an immediate opening for a demand generation/growth manager to join the rapidly growing marketing team. This role, reporting directly to the Vice President of Growth,  is a highly visible position within the company and is the tip of the spear in our marketing efforts.  

About the Perfect Candidate

  • You have a solid technology marketing experience: An undergraduate degree and at least 3 years of work experience in SaaS digital marketing, preferably for a technology company which markets to marketers/creatives. 
  • You live for hitting targets:  Ziflow’s marketing team generates the activities for over 93% of our revenue. This role is the linchpin in driving sales activity and pipeline creation.     
  • You like data: You’re comfortable around marketing and sales automation systems. You’re confident in your ability to determine the success or failure of an initiative and to use the data to learn from it.  You are comfortable around terms like LTV, CPM, CAC and ADC.  
  • You are flexible in a large role: This role features the opportunity to work with many different groups within the company, alongside executive stakeholders. 
  • You’re comfortable self-managing: Once a project or campaign has been scoped out, you’re comfortable running with the ball and working with various team members to ensure execution. 
  • You’re a digital native: You like technology. You know how to leverage it for revenue. You know how to explain what you do to your grandparents.  
  • You are a team player: You like to work with lots of different people, especially salespeople, and enjoy seeing how the breadth of technology marketing works.
  • You enjoy marketing campaigns. You like the collaborative process of creating, executing and tracking marketing campaigns.
Primary Responsibilities

We’re a startup, which means there’s always lots to do. At a minimum, your primary responsibilities will include: 

  • Identify opportunities for improvement inside the existing demand generation engine and test proposed tactics.
  • Manage and facilitate demand generation campaigns, including vendor selection, asset delivery, and overall campaign execution.
  • With VP of Growth, set, execute to and measure quarterly goals for top of funnel and pipeline creation requirements. 
  • Manage paid search, paid social and retargeting efforts.
  • Identify new marketing channels we can use to drive qualified user acquisition 
  • With the content lead and external consultants, contribute to SEO strategy. 
  • Develop, optimize and maintain key marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM, etc.) used to generate, distribute, and report on leads (including the development of lead scoring, lead nurturing and channel distribution programs).
  • Collaborate with internal content creators to develop campaigns to capture qualified traffic and nurture leads.
  • As needed, create content for email, social, landing pages and other channels.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of our buyer/user/influencer personas, including demographic and firmographic data for target optimization. 
  • Quarterback the account based marketing (abm) strategy using Demandbase and partnering with the business development team.
Qualifications Required:
  • 3+ years of demand/lead generation and/or growth marketing experience
  • Proven business and analytical skills to conduct market analysis and develop and execute spend plans 
  • Proven success working cross-functionally with internal business partners
  • Very strong written communication skills
  • Detail and deadline oriented
  • Bachelor’s Degree or work experience equivalent  
  • Bonus points for experience with ‘marketing to marketers’
