How To - Connect to Basecamp

Summary: Once you’ve connected your cloud storage service (Dropbox or Google Drive) you can connect Ziflow to Basecamp. Ziflow’s Basecamp Zibots can automatically perform actions in Basecamp when activity takes place in files and folders in your cloud storage.

    For example:

    • When a file is added to a folder, a new project can automatically be created in Basecamp
    • When a file is added to a folder, a new to-do is created in a project in Basecamp
    • When a file is added to a folder, it is also automatically added to a project in Basecamp, keeping projects organized

Where is the feature applied? To connect to Basecamp with Ziflow you need to click on the “Connections” tab and then click on “Applications” tab before selecting “Basecamp” from the “Connect Application” list.

    How does it work?

Once you have selected “Basecamp” from the list you will need to follow the onscreen steps highlighted below.

Step 1: If you are not already logged in to Basecamp, Ziflow will ask you to login with your username and password.

Step 2: You will be asked if you agree to allow Ziflow access to your Basecamp account.

Select “Yes, Ill allow access” to proceed.

You're done … you should now see your Basecamp connection under the “Applications” tab in the “Connections” area.

If you desire you are also able to rename the Basecamp account inside Ziflow

    Additional information:

    • Now you have added Basecamp to your Ziflow connections you can start using the Basecamp Zibots alongside the other Zibots to automate tasks and update Basecamp.
