The Role

The Sales Operations Manager will work closely with our VP of Sales to build and expand upon the success of our high growth sales team.  You will be responsible for reinforcing revenue strategy with reporting and metrics, building infrastructure and business processes our sales team scale, and leverage best practices and technology to optimize business outcomes. You will help the sales team to maximize their sales and attainment through analytics, reporting, data streams and KPIs. You will be the partner of the sales leadership team in forecasting, territory planning & management as well as their business review cadence. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Analytics & Intelligence:
    • Support weekly, monthly & quarterly reporting and forecasting for the sales organization, identifying significant changes and trends that will materially impact our growth trajectory
    • Maintain, design, and optimize reporting and dashboard as needed
    • Assess client and sales trends, feedback, and market movement; and consolidate into actionable recommendations for the executive team
    • Analyze and develop sales operations policies and procedures.
  • Sales Leadership Support
    • Proactively search for areas to improve, streamline and scale using data, process and systems analyses that measurably impact company revenue
    • Administer, manage and report on revenue forecasting and analysis
    • Train team members on process and ensure ongoing adherence
    • Performing ad hoc analysis for senior management to provide data support for business decisions
  • Sales Operations, Process & Systems
    • Develop and maintain operational processes, policies & procedures that optimize revenue and business outcomes 
    • Engage with sales reps and sales leadership to get ongoing feedback on the sales process and structure and drive improvements
    • Champion the use of technology, tools, and processes to maintain the source(s) of truth 
    • Oversight / administration of our Salesforce instance and adjacent sales tools 
    • Research changes in upcoming versions of Salesforce.com and other integrated applications; provide recommendations when necessary to enhance efficiency and productivity and ensure system sustainability 
    • Audit, uncover and resolve data quality issues; make recommendations to avoid issues in the future
    • Assist with maintaining the functional areas of data management, forecasting, contacts, leads, opportunities, dashboards and reports, and ensuring data integrity throughout our CRM system
    • Evaluating new tools and platforms to improve reporting and sales operations

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in sales operations  
  • Salesforce admin experience preferred, but Strong Salesforce.com experience is a must
