The Role

Ziflow has an immediate opening for a Social Media Manager. The role reports directly to the Director of Product Marketing. This is an excellent position for someone who wants to set the company’s organic social media strategy and execute against it; including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Linkedin, and other creative focused social channels.

  • You are a social media native.: You have a deep understanding of what makes brands tick on social media and how to create a following.
  • You are data driven: You understand the need for reporting and are able to communicate the business impact of your social media efforts.
  • The details matter to you: You ensure every post is on message and all visuals communicate the intended message. You are obsessive about the little details and willing to quickly correct any miscues.
  • You are a storyteller. At your core you love to tell a compelling story and don’t mind being the center of attention.
  • You are flexible and adaptable: Working in an early stage company means that things change, and can change quickly. You are adaptable and comfortable with new ideas. 
  • You’re comfortable self-managing: Once a project or campaign has been scoped out, you’re comfortable running with the ball and working across your team and the company to execute.
  • You are a team player: You like to work with lots of different people, especially salespeople. You understand what they need and can help them fulfil their goals.
Primary Responsibilities

We’re a startup, which means there’s always lots to do. At a minimum, your primary responsibilities will include: 

  • Own the company’s social media strategy. You will present your plan each quarter and integrate it into the overall company strategy.
  • Work cross functionally across marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure the best messages come out on the company’s social channels.
  • Work across each social media channel, adjusting to the nuance of each channel so that the core message is communicated while staying true to the specifics of each channel.
  • Quickly respond and engage with social media users that interact with the brand’s profile.
  • Sometimes content is hard to come by, but you will need to find it from sources like - company blog, case studies, surveys, reports, sales calls, etc.
  • Cultivate an engaged audience across each social channel.
Qualifications Required
  • 3+ years in the organic social media
  • Proven business and communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Proven results building a social media following across a variety of channels
  • Detail and deadline oriented
  • Bachelor’s Degree or work experience equivalent  
  • Bonus points for experience with ‘marketing to creative teams’
