How Viasat centralized creative review for a global communications company with 600+ reviewers

When Lisa arrived in 2021, there was no standard review and approval process. Some content went through email, and some went through another tool. With 40+ specialized legal and regulatory reviewers and content spanning government, broadband, and aviation, this lack of standardization was a compliance disaster waiting to happen.
Lisa built intake forms that allow anyone in the organization to submit content for review with just a few clicks. Custom workflows automatically route proofs through the right stages: internal review, then brand review, then legal, with automatic advancement when each stage is approved.

The monday.com integration was critical. Proof links, statuses, and review stages are all visible directly in monday, so creative teams managing 100+ projects can see at a glance what’s pending, what’s in legal review, and what’s been approved. Most reviewers never even need to open Ziflow directly.
When Viasat acquired Inmarsat, Ziflow proved its value again. The team used interactive proofs to review hundreds of web pages during the migration from the Inmarsat website to Viasat’s, getting documented approvals for brand and legal compliance through one centralized system.
Lisa points to the creative team’s immediate reaction to Ziflow’s interface as a telling sign. The clean design won them over from the start, which was important when asking people to adopt two new tools simultaneously (Ziflow and monday.com). Version comparison was another feature reviewers consistently praise once they discover it.
