Real AI-generated ads. Zero human review. Predictably terrible results. Watch Proof This, Ziflow's new series on why creative proofing matters more than ever.

How often have you been scrolling through your feed, minding your own business, and you see it: an ad with that familiar “handwritten” perfect text, or a plastic looking person with melted teeth holding a product that doesn't exist. You shuddered, maybe even screenshot it and sent it to your group chat with zero context because none was needed.
And then, quietly, you wondered if your own team has ever let something like that slip through.
The truth is, it's happening more than anyone wants to admit. AI tools are cranking out creative assets at a pace that would have been unthinkable even six months ago, and a lot of that work is going live with very little human oversight. That's exactly why we made Proof This.
Proof This is a new YouTube series from Ziflow where we look at real ads that went live using AI-generated creative without proper human review. Every episode pits two Ziflow colleagues against each other. They’re given real published ads, and they have to point out all the problems. And boy are there a lot of problems. If only there was a structured review process these companies could have followed that would have flagged the ad before it ever reached a live audience.
But nevertheless, the results are predictably, gloriously terrible.
We’re talking about meat pouring out of rain gutters, pretzel looking humans, logos that look like they went through a blender… and none of them are hypothetical examples or mockups we cooked up for fun. These are ads that actually ran. Real brands spent real money putting them in front of real people. And nobody on the team caught it before launch.
You already know that AI is making it faster and easier to produce creative at scale, and that part is exciting. Teams that used to spend weeks on production cycles can now generate assets in hours. But speed without review is how you end up in someone's "marketing fails" Youtube series.
AI can generate the visuals, write the copy, and assemble the layout. What it can't do is catch its own mistakes. It doesn't know your brand guidelines. It can't tell whether a visual feels right or slightly off in a way that makes people uncomfortable. It won't flag a compliance issue or notice that the headline contradicts the campaign brief. It has no concept of context, taste, or "wait, does that hand have six fingers?"
That's still a human job.
The teams getting this right aren't avoiding AI. They're using it and then running everything through a proper review workflow before it goes anywhere near a live audience. They're checking brand alignment, visual accuracy, copy consistency, legal compliance, and all the things AI is terrible at evaluating on its own. That's how you get the speed benefits of AI without the public embarrassments.
Ziflow exists to help creative teams review and approve work before it goes live. We've spent years building tools for exactly this kind of problem: getting the right eyes on creative assets at the right time, in the right order, before anything ships. So when we started seeing AI-generated ads going live with obvious, completely avoidable mistakes, the series basically wrote itself.
Proof This exists to make the case for human review in the most entertaining way possible: by showing you what happens when the human step gets skipped entirely. Sometimes the best argument for a structured proofing process is just seeing the alternative.

Proof This is a YouTube series from Ziflow that examines real ads published with AI-generated creative that went live without proper human review. Each episode breaks down what went wrong and what a structured proofing process would have caught.
AI tools can produce creative assets quickly, but they can't evaluate brand compliance, visual accuracy, legal requirements, or whether something simply looks wrong. Human reviewers catch context-specific errors that AI consistently misses.

Creative proofing is the process of reviewing and approving creative assets before they go live. Unlike basic proofreading, proofing covers the entire asset including design, branding, layout, compliance, and technical specifications.
Ziflow provides a centralized platform where teams can review creative assets together, leave feedback directly on the work, route approvals in the right order, and track versions automatically. It's built for exactly the kind of structured review that AI-generated content needs before going live
